At present we need to raise £15,000 every month to pay for the running costs at Sreepur (Shishu Polli Plus). This money pays for the food, clothing, schooling, building maintenance, medical care, staff salaries and administrative costs such as buying stationery and school books.

One of our success stories has been the paper-making project where we hand produce paper from ecologically sound materials such as waste jute. The paper is made into cards and wheat straw is used to decorate them. We sell these cards to generate an income and hope to have a catalogue of other paper products available later this year.
We have a number of sponsors in the UK, and we send newsletters out about four times a year, enclosing school reports on the children, photographs, drawings and news of any new projects or special events. If you would like more information, please write to us at:
